Faults are reprinted free. Ready-made cards come back within 7 days. Custom cards are made for you, so the rules there are different — set out plainly below.

This is a template, not legal advice
These terms ship with the TapCard codebase as a realistic starting point. They have not been reviewed by a lawyer and they are not tailored to your business, your jurisdiction or your actual practices. Have them reviewed before you launch publicly — particularly the sections on liability, refunds and personal data.
Everything below is the detail. None of it limits your rights under Pakistani consumer protection law.
Every card is scanned with a real phone before it is wrapped, so this should be rare. When it does happen it is our problem, not yours.
Photograph the card and the packaging before you unwrap anything else and send the pictures to shoptapcard@gmail.com or our WhatsApp within 48 hours of delivery. We reprint and resend at our cost, and you do not need to send the faulty card back unless we ask.
This covers:
If we printed something different from what your proof showed, that is on us and we reprint free.
If the proof was approved with a wrong link or a wrong account number on it, we will still reprint — at cost price rather than full price, because the design work is already done. We would rather get you a working card cheaply than argue about whose typo it was.
This is the reason we ask you to check proofs properly. A payment card with a digit wrong on the account title is a real problem in a real shop.
Ready-made cards can be returned within 7 days of delivery if they are unused and in their original packaging, for a refund of the product price. Return shipping is yours to arrange unless the order qualified for free delivery, in which case we deduct the actual outbound courier cost and tell you what it was.
Custom cards are made to your specification and cannot be returned for a change of mind once you have approved a design for print. Everything in the faults section still applies to them in full.
“Unused” means it has not been put on a counter and scanned by customers. A card that has been in service can only come back if it is faulty.
Cash-on-delivery orders can simply be refused at the door, but please tell us first so we are not paying courier charges both ways on a parcel you already knew you did not want.
Please do not send anything back without a reference — unlabelled parcels are very hard to match to an order, and that delays your refund.
Refunds go back the way the money came. Bank transfers are refunded to the account the payment came from. Cash-on-delivery orders are refunded by transfer to an account in your name — we will ask you for the details.
We process refunds within five working days of agreeing them. How long it then takes to appear is your bank’s business, usually one to three working days for a local transfer.
Delivery charges are refunded where the return is our fault: a faulty card, the wrong item, or an order that never arrived.
Your artwork stays on file against your account. Reordering the same design later — more cards for a second counter, or a reprint after a bank change — is cheaper than the first order, because the design work is already done. Message us with your order number rather than filling in a new brief.
